Hampton, Va. – Police are asking for your help to locate a suspect in connection to a shooting that happened in Hampton.
Gemini Andre Hardy, a 30-year-old Hampton resident, has warrants on file for one count of malicious wounding, one count of use of a firearm in commission of a felony, one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count of shooting within 1000 feet of a school.
Police were notified about the shooting at 4:35 p.m. on Tuesday.
When they arrived, they found a 29-year-old man who had been shot in a parking lot in the 1500 block of Briarfield Road.
He was taken to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
Investigators have determined that the victim and suspect knew each other and got into a verbal argument.
During the argument, the suspect shot the victim.
