NEW YORK (CNNMoney) — Target will soon start stocking the Apple Watch.
The retail chain will roll out the Apple Watch at its 1,800 U.S. stores over the next few weeks, and all locations are expected to get it by October 25.
Online orders at Target.com will start on October 18. Target said “select models and bands” will be available at its stores, and a larger variety — including a selection of Apple Watch Sport — will be available on Target.com.
It’s not entirely clear how well the Apple Watch is selling. Apple CEO Tim Cook said in July that allowing customers to walk out of the store with the watch jolted demand. Some analysts have said the next few months will be an important gauge of its success.
Best Buy was the first third-party retailer to sell the product.
