Virginia Beach, Va. – A bicyclist hit a school bus headed to pick up students for First Colonial High School at Virginia Beach Boulevard and Little Neck Road at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
No students were on the bus at the time of the accident. Two other buses were sent to pick them up from their stops and deliver them to school.
The bicyclist was transported to an area hospital to be examined. His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
Police tell NewsChannel 3 that the bus had the right of way and the biker could be facing charges.
