Flames from tow truck spread to Chesapeake warehouse, home

Chesapeake, Va. – A tow truck, home and warehouse in Chesapeake were all damaged in a fire on Wednesday evening.

The fire occurred in the 4200 block of Franklin Street. Crews were called out to the scene at around 5:43 p.m.

When they arrived, they found a tow truck on fire and the flames were spreading to a nearby home and warehouse.

The warehouse sustained moderate damage and the siding of the home melted.

No one was injured and the cause is still under investigation.
