Hampton, Va. - In three months, six different Hampton nail salons have been hit by burglars.

The first break-ins happened on August 4th at both Nails 2000 and A Nails.

Then only a week later and a few miles down the road, Nail Luv II was hit.

This incident was followed by Ann Nails on August 26th.

Then there were no burglaries for more than a month.  But on October 5th, two more salons were hit in the same night.

According to Hampton Police, all six businesses were broken into the same way. The thief or thieves forced themselves through a door after hours.

In the case of Quality Touch Salon, it was broken into with such force the door was actually broken -- forcing the business to post a sign for customers.

Once inside each of the salons, police say they stole TVs and in some cases they even took money and tools.

The manager at one salon tells NewsChannel 3 that this is the second time the television at his store has been stolen.

Now he is taking action against crime by putting cameras all around his store.
