Virginia Beach, Va. – A man robbed a convenience store with an unconventional weapon on Thursday.
Officers responded to a call about a robbery at the 7-Eleven on Newtown Road.
A man entered the store showing the clerks an “archery type weapon” and demanded money from the register, according to police.
The suspect left with the money.
Police are unsure of the type of archery weapon the suspect used.
The man is described a white, wearing dark clothes, a dark colored stocking hat and a black mask.
No injuries were reported.
