Patrick’s VIPIR Forecast: Warmer and (possibly) wet for Columbus Day

Posted

Patrick Rockey’s Live VIPIR Forecast

It looks like Columbus Day will be a little warmer and possibly a little wet.

We are tracking an area of low pressure off the Carolina coast. As it drifts north it will bring us a few clouds on Monday and possibly a few late afternoon and evening showers. Right now our rain chance is about 20%. Expect high temperatures in the mid 70s.

We will warm up even more on Tuesday. Some of us may make it into the lower 80s. Expect a mix of clouds and sunshine with a few more late afternoon and evening showers possible ahead of a cold front on the way.

Behind that cold front we expect a long stretch of sunny, mild weather.

Expect high temperatures in the low-to-mid 70s with lots of sunshine through the rest of the work week and into the weekend.
