Hampton Police investigating shooting on LaSalle Ave.

Hampton, Va. – Police are looking for two suspects in connection with a shooting that happened on October 10.

Public Safety Communications received a call about shots being fired on  LaSalle Avenue around 11:00 p.m.

When officers arrived to the scene, they found a 20-year-old man suffering from one gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to the hospital and was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say that the victim was walking around the 800 block of LaSalle Avenue when a dark-colored SUV approached him.

One of the people in the SUV shot at the victim multiple times, striking him once.

The suspects drove away, heading northbound on LaSalle Avenue.

Police have no descriptions of the suspects.
