Hampton, Va. – Police need your help finding a suspect in connection with an armed robbery on October 12.
Police responded to a call about the robbery of a Steak-n-Shake on Mercury Boulevard around 7:00 a.m.
Investigators say that the suspect entered the store, showed the clerk a gun and demanded money. After the clerk gave him the cash, he ran away.
The suspect is described as a black male around 6’1″, 185 pounds with a gray and black short beard.
He was last seen wearing a black shirt, possibly with an image of a face on the front with orange lettering and dark jeans.

Tipsters can also send an anonymous tip via text message to the Crime Line by texting “HAMPTONPDTIPS plus your tip” to 274637 (CRIMES). Crime Line callers remain anonymous and never appear in court.
If a Crime Line call results in an arrest, the caller is eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
