Norfolk, Va. – Police are investigating a shooting that happened near Huntersville Recreation Center on Monday night.
Police say that at around 8:00 p.m., a 24-year-old man told police that he was walking and heard gunshots in Lexington Park, near Tidewater Drive and Goff Street.
After the man realized that he had been shot, he called police and waited for them on Goff Street.
The man was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
