Suffolk, Va. – A man and his fiancé are unhurt after a gunman tried to rob them in their driveway in Suffolk Thursday night.
The attempted robbery happened shortly before midnight in the 1400 block of Blythewood Lane in the East Suffolk.
The couple had returned home from the store and were in a vehicle in the driveway when they were approached by a black man who demanded money at gunpoint. A struggle ensued and the gun went off, however no one was injured and nothing was taken from the victims.
The subject immediately ran away.
