SUFFOLK, Va. – Suffolk police are investigating a shooting that took place downtown early Saturday afternoon.
Emergency communications were notified of a shooting in the 500 block of Kissimmee Avenue around 2:05 p.m.
Suffolk Fire & Rescue personnel treated a 21-year-old man for a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives are still investigating the incident and do not have a suspect or motive at this time.
