Cool and breezy this weekend….Grab a jacket! We’re expecting cool and breezy conditions as we move through your weekend as a strong cold front pushes across the area today. This afternoon, high temperatures will rise into the low and mid 60s under a mix of sun and clouds. Tonight, skies will clear with overnight lows in the upper 30s inland and the low to mid 40s closer to the water. With the front offshore on Sunday, we’re going to feel a big difference with our temperatures as highs drop into the mid 50s! But because of breezy winds from northwest, it will feel colder. At least we’ll see mostly sunny skies through the day.
Temperatures will take a big dip late Sunday night/early Monday morning, into the low and mid 30s inland — cold enough for patchy frost, so keep that in mind. Several communities closer to the water will also dip into the upper 30s. By afternoon, highs will only climb into the mid 50s under mostly sunny skies. On Tuesday, morning temperatures will drop into the 30s again, but by afternoon, we’ll be in the mid 60s. On Wednesday and Thursday, highs will be in the 70s.
