Tuesday’s VIPIR Forecast: Chilly start but a big warm up

***A Frost Advisory is in effect until 9 AM for the inland Southside and most of Northeastern North Carolina. These areas could see temperatures in the mid 30s with areas of patchy frost.

Warming trend ahead… Another chilly morning with temperatures in the 40s near the coast and 30s inland. Areas of patchy frost are possible for inland locations this morning. We will see plenty of sunshine today with highs warming into the upper 60s, near normal for this time of year. Sunshine continues on Wednesday with highs climbing into the low 70s. Rain chances will remain low the rest of the work week.

Today: Mostly Sunny, Warmer. Highs in the upper 60s. Winds: SW 5-10

Tonight: Mainly Clear. Lows in the upper 40s. Winds: S 5-10

Tomorrow: Mostly Sunny, Warmer. Highs in the low 70s. Winds: SW/S 5-10
