Norfolk, Va. – Police are looking for a man who they say snatched a woman’s purse at a convenience store in Norfolk.
This happened on October 5th just after 7:45 p.m. at the Shop-N-Go store on 1722 Church Street.
A 40-year-old woman was outside of the store when a man grabbed her purse, police say.
She tried to fight him, but the strap was broken and the man ran away with her purse and the belongings inside.
Police say the suspect is known to hang out at the Shop-N-Go store and the Huntersville neighborhood.
He has been described as a black male, approximately 5’5″-5’6″ in height, weighing 150-160 pounds.
