The weekend brings sunshine and a few showers….The weekend will not be a washout. However, a few showers are possible into Sunday. We’ll get to that in just a moment. First, as we move through our Saturday, expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies across Hampton Roads and NE North Carolina as high pressure builds over us. High temperatures will be on the mild side, reaching the mid 60s by afternoon. Skies will be partly cloudy overnight with low temperatures in the low to mid 50s. On Sunday, another quick moving cold front will sweep through the area. Ahead of the front, temperatures will warm up to near 70. But as the front slides in, a few showers will be possible. Otherwise, expect partly sunny and at times mostly cloudy skies. On Monday and Tuesday, highs will cool into the mid 60s. We’ll see temps close to the lower 70s by Wednesday and Thursday with a chance of rain and possibly some thunderstorms.
Tonight: Mostly Clear and Chilly. Overnight low temperatures in the mid and upper 40s. Winds: NE 5-10 mph.
Saturday: Mostly Sunny to Partly Cloudy. Mild. High temperatures in the mid 60s. Winds: NE 5-10 mph.
Sunday: Partly Sunny. Chance of Showers (30%). High temperatures in the lower 70s. Winds: S/SW 5-10 mph.
