Virginia Beach, Va. – A fight may have led to a shooting in a Virginia Beach neighborhood early Saturday morning off South Plaza Trail and South Independence Boulevard.
Crews were dispatched to the 4300 block of Gadwall Place around 3:15 a.m. for reports of a fight and shots fired, according to emergency communications.
Officer James Cason with Virginia Beach Police says it appears that fight led to shots being fired, but no one was actually shot.
No injuries to any persons or to property was reported.
One person was taken into custody but police have not confirmed if any charges have been filed.
