Portsmouth, Va. – A pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Oak Street and Portsmouth Blvd just before noon Saturday, October 24 died as a result of his injuries, according to Detective Misty Holley.
Holley says the adult male was originally transported to Sentara Norfolk General with serious injuries. He passed away on Thursday, October 29.
As of now, the driver isn’t facing any charges, but Holley says the departments strategic traffic unit is investigating and may file charges at a later date.
