Suffolk, Va. – A crash involving five cars and a deer shut down I-664 southbound near the Monitor Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel early Friday morning.
The crash occurred on the Suffolk side of the bridge around 5:45 a.m. Traffic was stopped before the bridge on the Newport News side and the road remained closed for about an hour.
Minor injuries were reported, according to Virginia State Police.
