and last updated

Not as soggy… After a rain soaked Monday, rain chances will be much lower today. Expect a mix of sun and clouds with more sun to the north and more clouds to the south. An isolated shower is possible today but most of the rain should stay south of the Albemarle Sound. Highs will warm slightly into the upper 60s today. We will keep a slow warming trend going through the work week with highs in the low 70s on Wednesday to the upper 70s on Friday. We will keep a mix of clouds with just a few isolated showers through Friday. Rain chances will increase on Saturday as a cold front moves in.
