Hampton, Va. – Police are working to identify a man suspected of robbing a Food Lion on November 5.
The robbery took place at the Food Lion in the 3800 block of Kecoughtan Road around 8:10 a.m.
Police say that the suspect entered the store and tried to leave without paying for several items.
When the manager confronted the suspect, he put his hand inside of his coat pocket and implied that he had a gun.
The suspect left the store and drove away in an older model white Toyota Celica with the sticker “Celica” on the back window. The car was last seen driving on Kecoughtan Road towards Lasalle Avenue.
The suspect is described as a light skinned black man with gray hair, around 50 to 60 years old and around 5’9″. He was last seen wearing a black coat and black jeans.
