Virginia Beach, Va. – Police are looking for a man accused of stealing alcohol at a 7-Eleven.
It happened on November 5 around 1:45 a.m. at the 7-Eleven on 696 Aragona Boulevard.
The suspect tried to open an alcohol refrigerator, but it was locked because convenient stores stop selling alcohol at midnight.
Police say the man walked to a wine rack, grabbed a bottle, hid it under his shirt and walked out of the store.
The clerk was assaulted when he tried to stop the suspect.
The suspect drove off in a white 4-door Toyota.
