Hampton, Va.- The city of Hampton is ready for the holidays as they gear up for the 27th Annual Downtown Hampton Lighted Boat Parade.
This year, more than 20 boats are expected to participate in the light spectacle located on the Hampton waterfront.
The lighted boats will be visible from anywhere along the Hampton River and there is more than one way to enjoy the spectacle. A narration of the parade will be available for spectator’s listening pleasure at the Hampton Maritime Center. For those who wish to enjoy the parade more actively, the Miss Hampton II will be offering tours along the river. They are simply asking for a donation of an unwrapped toy. The parade is completely free and is to be held on the Friday, December 11 at 7 pm.
