Newport News armed robbery suspect caught on camera

Newport News, Va. - Police need your help finding a man in connection with a robbery at a gas station.

On November 12 around 9:44 a.m., police received a call about a robbery of the Fill and Go on 10700 Warwick Boulevard.

The store owner told police that the suspect came into the store around 9:40 a.m. and pulled out a semi-automatic handgun.

The suspect demanded cash and then ran away through the parking lot.

The man's face was covered by sunglasses and a red bandana.

Police describe the suspect as a black male around 5'6" with a thin build.  He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, khaki pants, a black hat, sunglasses, dark colored shoes and clear latex gloves.
