Fort Macon, NC – A 19-year-old was medically evacuated from a fishing boat near Fort Macon on Thursday.
The Coast Guard was notified at 2:20 p.m. that someone on an 80-foot fishing boat “Tamara Alane” had suffered injuries to his arm, leg and head.
A motor lifeboat boat crew and a response boat small boat crew were launched to evacuate the injured teen.
Crews arrived at 3:14 p.m.
He was seen by EMS crews and is now listed as stable.
