Chesapeake, Va. – Police have arrested a man after receiving a call about a suspicious person walking around the area near Hickory High School.
When they arrived to South Battlefield Boulevard and Hickory Road Friday morning, they saw Earl Boyd Jr.
An investigation revealed that Boyd is a registered sex offender.
Boyd claims he was walking to the bank.
He was arrested and charged with being a sex offender on school property and is now being held in Chesapeake City Jail.
