What were the top selling liquors in Virginia for 2015?

Richmond, Va. – The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) has listed the top 50 selling liquors in the Commonwealth for the 2015 fiscal year.

Included in the list are 16 brands of vodka, 15 whiskies, five cordials, four rums, three gins, three tequilas, two brandies and two cognac/armagnacs.

The liquors contributing to total sales of $846,463,506 — a nearly six percent jump from the previous fiscal year.

According to Virginia ABC, the number one liquor for the second year — Jack Daniel’s 7 Black Tennessee Whiskey, saw $26.9 million in sales.

Hennessy VS realized the greatest sales growth at almost 24 percent, while Tito’s Handmade Vodka made the biggest jump from #21 in 2014 to #13 in 2015.
