Hampton, Va. – A man is dead after police say he was shot outside of a Waffle House in Hampton early Sunday morning.
Hampton Police tweeted about a shooting incident in the 1800 block of West Mercury Boulevard that occurred shortly after 2:00 a.m.
In a release sent out by Hampton Police, they say an adult male victim suffering from multiple gunshot shot wounds was taken to an area hospital where he later died.
Currently, there are no active leads.
The case remains under investigation.
