Police arrest two men accused of firing gun into apartment party

Norfolk, Va. – Police have arrested two people after an officer saw a man shooting a gun into an apartment building.

Police say they witnessed the incident while they were patrolling around Bowden’s Ferry Road around 1:00 a.m. on November 15.

Officers say they saw Rhashon Barkley and Timothy Mujsce firing a gun into a crowded apartment party.

The two briefly ran away from officers before they were arrested.

Barkely, 21, was been charged with one count each of shooting into an occupied dwelling, resisting arrest, felony distribution of drugs and felony possession of drugs.

Mujsce, 23, was been charged with one count each of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, brandishing a firearm and obstruction of justice.

Barkley and Mujsce are currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
