Portsmouth, Va. – Police are now investigating after a man was shot in Portsmouth on Wednesday.
This happened at South Street and Buchanan Avenue.
Emergency crews were called about the incident at 5:09 p.m.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
No word on injuries yet.
Police are now blocking off the area of Lansing Avenue. Officers are canvassing nearby apartments.
