Chesapeake, Va. – Police have arrested two men in connection with the robbery of a Chesapeake bank.

Scott Rhodes entered the bank and demanded money. Ronald Lovelace drove Rhodes away from the scene of the crime.

On November 11 at around 1:30 p.m., Rhodes came into the Bank @lantic on 1580 Crossways Boulevard and handed the teller a note implying that he had a weapon.

Rhodes left the bank after the teller gave him the cash, moving toward Greenbrier Parkway.

K9 officers arrived to the scene and tried to track Rhodes, but were unable to catch him at the time.

Rhodes and Lovelace were arrested for robbing a Southern Bank that prompted a police chase, ultimately leading to a crash at an intersection.  After they were arrested, police connected them to the Bank @lantic robbery.

Both men have been charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

There were no injuries in this incident.
