Thursday’s VIPIR Forecast: Rain today, cooler tomorrow

Tracking rain and storms… A cold front is moving over the East Coast today, bringing us clouds, rain, wind and even a thunderstorm. Expect cloudy skies today with rain building in from west to east this morning. Rain will stay with us through this afternoon, becoming more scattered this afternoon and evening. Rain could be heavy at times with an isolated storm possible. Highs will return to the low 70s today, ahead of the front. Rain will taper off late tonight with clouds clearing by early Friday morning. We will see plenty of sunshine Friday with highs near 60. Expect windy conditions both today and tomorrow. A second cold front is set to move in Saturday night. Rain chances will be limited but it will bring in even colder air for Sunday and next week. Expect highs near 60 on Saturday but near 50 on Sunday.
