Norfolk, Va. - Thirty minutes. That's how much extra time Norfolk Airport Authority officials are suggesting you give yourself when traveling this Thanksgiving.
"Because of recent world events, the TSA has basically advised the security screening process may take a little bit longer during the holiday period," Deputy Executive Director of Airport Authority, Robert Bowen told NewsChannel 3.
That extra screening could create long lines at Norfolk International, especially with lots of holiday travelers.
"I would say people that would normally come about an hour early should come about an hour and a half for domestic flights."
