Patrick’s VIPIR forecast: Pleasant Thanksgiving, but wet weather on the way

Posted

Patrick Rockey’s Live VIPIR Forecast

Thanksgiving weather is looking dry and mild but there’s plenty of wet weather in the pipeline.

We may wake up to some areas of dense fog on Thanksgiving morning. And there is even a very slight chance of a stray shower. But we should enjoy plenty of sunshine as we head through the day with high temperatures in the mid-to-upper 60s.

Black Friday brings even milder weather. Many of us will hit the 70 degree mark under partly cloudy skies.

Our changes begin on Saturday. Expect the clouds to increase in the afternoon as a cold front starts to move in. Ahead of that front, expect high temperatures in the mid 60s.

It looks like the cold front will move in on Sunday and stall out across the region. Temperatures will be cooler, with highs in the mid-to-upper 50s. Scattered showers are possible.

And that front will linger into the work week. Waves of energy moving along it will bring us a chance for rain Monday, Tuesday and possibly Wednesday.
