Portsmouth, Va. – Police became involved in a pursuit with a wanted man after attempting to serve a warrant on Sunday.
Officers were trying to serve the warrant to the man at a residence in the 3600 block of Tejo Lane around 9:00 a.m.
While trying to locate the suspect, a pursuit began around 9:30 a.m. and ended at 3280 Western Branch Boulevard in Chesapeake.
K-9 units began looking for the suspect, who fled from the officers.
The man was later taken into custody.
