Norfolk, Va. – A 24-year-old man was wounded during a robbery on Briar Hill Road Wednesday night.
Police responded to the 900 block of Briar Hill Road for reports of gunshots heard at about 9:45 pm and found the victim.
He was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries where he is expected to recover.
The man told police that while he was walking home an armed black man wearing all dark clothing approached him and demanded personal property. The victim was shot during the robbery.
Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
