VIPIR Forecast: Tracking much cooler weather on the way

Posted

Tracking much cooler weather on the way….A cold front will bring big changes to our forecast over the next several days.  But first, tonight, the front will bring scattered showers across the area. Most of the rain will taper late. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies with areas of fog. Overnight lows will be in the lower 50s.

On Thursday, sky conditions will improve for a lot of us as the cold front pushes offshore. In fact, we’re expecting sun and clouds through the day. A breezy northwest wind will usher in much cooler weather, with highs in the mid 50s by afternoon. The 50s will stick around for Friday and through the weekend. We’re also expecting more sunshine for the weekend. A few showers return by the middle of next week.

Tonight: Mostly Cloudy. Scattered Showers(60%). Rain tapers overnight. Areas of Fog. Low temperatures near 50. Winds: SW-NW 10-15 mph.

Thursday: Sun and Clouds. Cool and Breezy. High temperatures in the mid 50s. Winds: NW 10-20 mph.

Friday: Mostly Sunny. Mild. High temperatures in the mid 50s. Winds: N 5-10 mph.
