Portsmouth, Va. - A woman was injured after a shooting in Portsmouth on Wednesday night.
The incident happened in the 1100 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue at 7:56 p.m.
She was hit in the leg police say.
She was taken to the hospital for treatment. Her injuries are considered non-life threatening.
