Chesapeake, Va. - A man was killed Thursday night after he was hit by a vehicle in Chesapeake.
Police have identified the victim as 56-year-old Jeffery Weeks of Chesapeake.
According to Kelly O'Sullivan with Chesapeake Police, the accident happened at 9:40 p.m. at the intersection of Military Highway and Canal Drive.
When police arrived, Weeks was not responding. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver has not been charged at this time.
The accident remains under investigation.
