Norfolk, Va. – A woman is in jail after police say she shot a man early Saturday morning, sending him to the hospital in serious condition.
It all happened in the parking lot of Captain Ron’s Bar located at 9300 Chesapeake Street, according to a release from Norfolk Police.
When police arrived they found a 43-year-old man suffering from a serious gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital where he is currently listed in stable condition.
Witnesses held down the alleged shooter, 46-year-old Rubi M. Kugelman of the 600 block of E. Leicester Avenue, until police arrived.
Kugelman has been charged with one count each of malicious wounding and use of a firearm in commission of a felony. She is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
