Portsmouth, Va. – An active shooter drill is being held at Coast Guard Base Portsmouth on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Portsmouth Police, Fire and EMS are involved, as well as Coast Guard personnel.
Citizens in the area could see a large law enforcement presence and traffic on and off the base may be disrupted until 11:00 a.m. as a result of the exercise.
