Portsmouth, Va. – A woman has been charged after police say she hit the side of a Portsmouth school bus on Wednesday.
The accident happened just after 2:30 p.m. in the 4800 block of Greenwood Drive.
Kids were on the bus at the time, but no one was injured.
The bus was traveling on Greenwood Drive and going across the overpass. Police say a silver Honda Accord came off the ramp on I-264, failed to yield and hit the bus.
No one in the other vehicle was hurt.
The bus had minor damages and there was some damage done to the other vehicle.
The driver of the Honda was charged for driving on a suspended license, failure to yield and failing to have a registration.
