Newport News, Va. – A woman was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries Wednesday morning after she was shot in the arm while walking along a street in Newport News.
The victim, a 23-year-old Hampton woman, was walking in the 14600 block of Warwick Blvd. with another person at about 10:34am when they heard gunshots and she was struck in the arm.
Police have not released any suspect information at this time.
