Hampton, Va. – A 65-year-old Hampton man has been arrested and charged in connection to a murder that occurred 34 years ago.
Police say Ruben Edward Moore murdered Olivia Christian, who was 32-years-old at the time.
The murder occurred on September 4th, 1981.
Police received a call at 5:30 p.m. from a family member about Christian, who lived in the 200 block of Ivy Home Road.
When officers arrived, they found her dead inside of the home.
Moore was indicted by the Peninsula Multi-jurisdictional Grand Jury on Friday.
Moore is still in police custody.
No other details have been released about this case.
