Isle of Wight County, Va. – Members of the Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team raided a possible meth lab early Sunday morning.
51-year-old Shelton Harrell Cobb and 59-year-old Felicia Lucas Rooney were arrested.
Deputies executed the search warrant in the 27000 Block of Colosse Rd. in the Carrsville Community after receiving information that the two had been actively operating a meth lab there.
Items associated with running a meth lab were seized. Carrsville Volunteer Fire and Rescue and the Virginia State Police assisted in the investigation.
Cobb was charged with: Possession of a schedule 1 or 2 substance-methamphetamine, Manufacture of methamphetamine and possession of 2 or more items associated with manufacture of methamphetamine.
Rooney was charged with: Possession of a schedule 1 or 2 substance-methamphetamine, Manufacture of methamphetamine and possession of 2 or more items associated with manufacture of methamphetamine.
