Powhatan County, Va. – One person is dead and another has been injured after a police chase ended in a crash.
According to WTVR.com, one person has been taken into custody.
This happened as police tried to pull over someone who was speeding on Route 60 near Route 522 in Powhatan County.
A state trooper tried to stop the Tahoe they say was going at a high rate of speed.
Police say the vehicle quickly changed lanes and hit a 2009 Kia.
One person in the Kia died and the other person suffered serious injuries.
Witnesses say the Tahoe hit a couple as they were coming out of the parking lot. They say the car was crushed from the rear.
