Norfolk, Va. – A stolen car was driven into a retention pond in the 2400 block of Ballentine Boulevard on Tuesday, according to police dispatch.
Norfolk Police responded to Ballentine Elementary School after a concerned citizen reported seeing the vehicle in the pond behind the school.
No one was in the car when units arrived.
One police unit was on the scene and a tow truck came to pull the vehicle out of the water.
