Newport News, Va. – A 52-year-old Newport News man faces multiple charges after allegedly making inappropriate sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl.
Craig Mitchell Robinson was charged with three counts of carnal knowledge of a child between thirteen and fourteen years of age without force, eight counts of indecent liberties with a child and one count of the use of a computer to commit certain sexual offenses with a minor.
On November 11, police were dispatched to a Newport News home regarding a sexual assault.
Officers met with the victim and her mother. The victim’s mother told police that the girl suffered inappropriate sexual contact with Robinson in their home.
The 14-year-old said she was between the ages of 11 and 14 when the inappropriate conduct occurred.
