UPDATE: Danny Smith has been found safe according to police. Police credit the watchful eye of a railroad worker for spotting Smith and immediately contacting dispatchers.
Officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding his disappearance. Foul play does not appear to be a contributing factor.
Norfolk, Va. – Have you seen 49-year-old Danny Smith?
Police say he has been reported missing and may be in danger.
Witnesses say he was last seen Thursday evening leaving the Harbour Pointe Medical and Rehabilitation Center in the 1000 block of Hampton Blvd. after 6 p.m.
Danny Smith is a 49-year-old white male with blue eyes, approximately 5’9″ in height and weighs 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red hat, white shirt, and grey pants.
Smith is Wheelchair bound and is in need of medical monitoring.
