Surry County, Va- A morning hit-and–run has left one person dead.
According to police, the victim and another person were walking alongside the road in the 1200 block of Burnt Mill Road when someone driving a 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo hit them.
The victim died at the scene and the other person was taken the hospital.
Police are still looking for the driver who fled the scene.
